Wednesday 8th August ~ We arrived safely in Chicago after a very enjoyable flight in First Class! Our ground shuttle met us and we were soon in our hotel in Downtown Chicago. Superb room with a small park adjacent to exercise Caesar.

The only shock of the day was that Chicago is 6 hours behind London, and not five as we originally thought!

Our first stop was a Petco store about 6 blocks away to buy some food for Caesar, then a nearby grocery store to buy some snacks, very conveniently our room has a microwave and fridge so we are all set up! Special thanks to Petco for giving Caesar a welcome to America goodie bag!

A quick stop by the Chicago Tribune Building near our hotel to complete our first geocache in the city and then we retired for something to eat and an early night. It had been a very long day, but everything went according to plan and we're all very happy with the way our trip has begun.
