25th June 2003

The best bit of having a birthday at the end of June is that the weather is always nice!
This year I enjoyed a three hour walk and picnic with my two friends, Sam and Zac.

Mum had to make the picture above, as the closest we three came to sitting for a proper photo together was this...

The closest we came to all sitting together

Our walk was on the heathland nature reserve near my home, and of course we had to dip and swim in every pond we came across, and Zac and I played lots of retrieve games. Sam enjoys a short dip and then sitting in the shade watching us two young 'uns chasing around!

Caesar, fetch and run!
The best fun is to be had when Zac & Sams' Mum Susan, and my Mum throw toys in the ponds for us to retrieve.

What's that?
What's up there?

Caesar & hide bone
A rawhide "bone", one of the best presents...ever!

Once again, Caesar had a very enjoyable birthday, and ended the day exhausted but content.
...and there is no doubt that he fully understands the word "presents"!

"Raining Bones" on this page, inspired by,
"If a dogs prayers were answered, bones would rain from the sky"
Turkish Proverb, popularised by Suzanne Clothier.

With thanks to Susan, Sam & Zacs' Mum, for some of the photos on this page :o)
