Wendy & Caesars' Visit to Crufts 2005
Early March 2005 and it was time for Crufts again... so Wendy & Caesar
spent almost a week in Birmingham for the show which was held at The National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
 |
The day before the show got under way there was time for some all important socialising, this picture shows Caesar on the left, with litter brother Windsor (Stud dog for Guide Dogs) and older half sister, Penny, also with Dogs for the Disabled. |
 |
After the introductions, Penny slipped off to do some shopping (typical girl)! and the boys got down to some serious exploring and game playing.
It was a wonderful day!
It's a job to decide who is who here, but Caesar is on the left. |
Once the show got under way, there was plenty to do. Wendy & Caesar spent some time each day working on the stand for Dogs for the Disabled, and the rest of the time was spent attending lunches, launches, visiting other stands and meeting up with friends, old and new.

On the Saturday and Sunday, Wendy & Caesar were asked to be guests in the Guide Dogs Display in The Special Events Ring, along with a dog from Hearing Dogs and a dog now working with the Police. This was to show the audience the diversity of the Guide Dogs breeding programme.
Sleeping Beauties!
At the end of a long day, Caesar finds a comfy resting place for his head, and Penny sleeps through it all!
Sunday evening, the show almost over, and Caesar decides to settle down with his new toy!
Many thanks to Mary for the photo of Wendy & Caesar on stand & special thanks to Dougal for the caveman woobie!
